Well lad, new to this section of Boards so be kind.

I recently baught a Toyota Corolla GS (1997).
Now the front and back bumpers are badly scratched with the paint chipping and rust starting to build so I'm thinking of the option of Respeaying which a friend will do by he says it will add up to around €100 or buy some secondhand.

So now I found a GXI(1995) for breaking in Donegal and from the pictures I think that they could fit my GS.

Just wondering what you's might have to say before I decide to make the trip up north :)

    Thanks

Ps. First pic is mine second is GXI

I can't promise anything but the bodies look the same so they should fit no bother.
Get a few more snaps from seller (front and back) to make sure the new bumpers are up to scratch *pun*
Drive up and fit there. If it doesn't fit you don't buy.

Also the lad the GXI is letting it go for parts or the whole lot for €250.

Would I be better of buying the whole lot or get the parts I need for under €150!???

    Get the whole lot!

Gearbox is worth 200-300 itself (if not faulty of course).

Provided moving it to your place is cheap go for it, then scrap it if needs be.

If you have room for it then by all means buy the whole thing.
