I hate the common fragrance that seems to be present in many dry shampoo's. Does any know of one that has no/or very little scent?

There are dry shampoos in Garnier's new Ultimate Blends range. Meant to be really good and smell nice - one is lemon and green tea and the other is vanilla milk.

When I was in college I regularly used cornflour instead of dry shampoo - it does exactly the same job and if you apply it properly it doesn't have to be messy. I used an old blusher brush to apply it, left it for about a minute then brushed out. I hate the musty smell of dry shampoo, so loved that cornflour was fragrance free (and ridiculously cheap). I've also heard of people with darker hair using cocoa powder instead of cornflour but never tried it myself!

Wow, cool I'll give it a try.

I use the lush one, it's like a talcum powder and like it. Not too smelly (I don't like the smell of most) and find it really good. Doesn't totally take the shine out either.

    Cornflour would work, good call.

I use the lush one too and it has a nice mild scent, certainly not overpowering like a lot of them are. To be honest though I think it's just glorified cornflour, had a look at the bottle there and the number 1 ingredient is cornflour. Batiste do a non aerosol unscented one as well which I found very good, boots used stock it but I haven't found it anywhere in the last 6 months.

Is that the root volume powder stuff or something different? Bought the root powder months back, must give it a go!

No it's a different one to the root powder, I googled it there and it is called batiste nude - haven't seen it in months though which is a pity as it was decent and I hate the smell of the other batistes!

I have a dry shampoo from superdrug, I think its call away with the fairies. There's not much of a smell from it and it doesn't leave my hair matte and chalky like bastiste does.
