This is for devices with Android™ 2.2 or later / iOS® 5.0 or later. Only available today on the US Store as far as I know.

First click on the link below and make sure you stay on the US Store.

Link

Then click "Buy Now" button and enter the following coupon code on the next page.
stay_safe_NAM

This will bring the total to $0, continue to checkout page and uncheck the box next to "Yes, renew my subscription automatically. (Recommended)" on the bottom. It might be better to use a virtual card if you have one, just fill in a random US billing address and other info needed. Click continue and you will get your key after the confirmation page.

As the the price is $0 it doesn't attempt to authorise the transaction so is only doing basic validation on the number and you can use test card numbers with any date in the future.

I got a second license using a test card number so I can confirm that it works. Also the code still seems to be working at the moment so it might be handy to get a spare one or two licenses if you are planning to use it on more than one device.

Forget about putting a paid solution on your mobile, If you really want an antivirus malwarebytes and avast are free on the Android market, don't even think about it on iOS

Is it better than the likes of Lookout and Avast?

Its beat avast in recent tests, lookout has no call blocker or message filter. Then again Avira free beat Norton and these rating swap around from month to month depending on the malware sample they throw at them so maybe avira is handier if it works for you.

Thanks OP, got my free copy. Used a test visa card number from the paypal site.

I have Lookout installed on a few devices and always find it good. Just hope Norton isn't as a resource hungry on the mobiles as it is on Windows!
