Sale of Goods Act Reforms?

Hey,
I have an essay to write for some college work and am wondering if anyone has some advice on the main reforms needed in the sale of goods and supply of services act 1893-1980, I have the sales law review groups review 2011 but at over 500 pages it will not be possible for me to cover it all before my deadline, just some of the most pressing issues is needed to start with. Anything anyone could contribute would be greatly appreciated.

Just read the recommendations. Really, unless your deadline is today you have time to read the report.

Introduction

Ireland usually just copies England and Wales when it needs some legislation that isn't about the gays or abortion.

Copying is Efficient

Copying England and Wales (E&W) means that politions can spend more time in the Dail bar, thus limiting the damage they do.

Conclusion

We'll copy E&W once they finish updating theirs.

Throw in some sources, Wikipedia is good for that (not as a source but for finding some), bobs your uncle you'll fail spectacularly.

Thanks for your reply, can you recommend any other decent sources for this? I understand there is probably alot within the report anyway

Oh, for God's sake. Go to this link, read the summary at pages 9-37. If you want more, read a book.

This Law Reform Commission Report is 22 years out of date but I suppose the structure of the paper could be used as a template and updates to legislation and caselaw could be checked.
