    Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody could recommend somewhere to hire decorations for the church please. I am in Lucan so if there is anywhere near it would be preferable.

The usual red carpet, flowers for alter (can be silk) , pew ends, bay trees and lanterns for outside the church etc. Any help would be appreciated as I am not sure what the standard cost of a package like this would be.

    Thanks
    Minatauro.

I don't know the story with "renting" those sorts of things, but most florists will provide them as part of their package. My Mam is a wedding florist, and provides lanterns, bay trees, etc. as well as flowers if requested. I can PM you her details if interested, but she's about 100km away from you, so somebody nearby might be better (but quite expensive if paying Dublin prices).

Silk flowers though wouldn't look great IMO, but each to their own!

I think how silk flowers look depends on the quality. I've seen some you wouldn't even know the difference...
