Feature Radiators - effective heat?

    Hi

I'd like to install a feature radiator (1800mm tall) and want to purchase something that looks good and will also heat the room.

I'm checking various makes and the BTUs seem about right but can the brochures be relied upon?

Prices also vary a lot! For example a double column Quinn Adagio (which strikes me as a good model) is far cheaper than an Oscar Royale.
This makes me wonder is the price difference driven by design or is it also down to performance?

I know the above is a tricky question but any help would be appreciated!

I have bought some of these over time and had good results.

I can't see why these companies would put a wrong BTU rating on a radiator.

My general suggestion would be to buy bigger radiators if possible, so that you can run the heating system at a lower water temperature for maximum efficiency.

Jaga from Holland are fantastic designs and they are extremely effective.
I have 4 differing designs and apart from the WBS the best quite expensive heating device I have bought.:)
