Rolled Oats

I'm reconing on feeding 1 to 2 ton of rolled oats to ewes and cows over the next 3 months. I have no storage space for to have it blown in. I'd like to buy it in half ton bags or collect it by the half ton loose in 2 bins that I have. Local co-op doesn't sell it loose and only have it in 40kg bags where it costs €300 per ton. It's not worth the hassle at that.

I'm scheduled to be various places over the next 2 weeks with the jeep and trailer so i could easily collect. Anyone know anywhere in Longford, Roscommon, Galway or Westmeath that sells it the way I want it?

Hi reilig....I know Clare isn't on your list of destinations but pretty sure that there is a guy near me that does what you are looking for. Friend of mine was telling me that he gets oats from him in a half ton bag. I can find out more details if you want. (I'm sure you will find someplace closer to you though)

Not so €200.00 per ton bulk in the south east. might do a tad better for cash.
