    Hi there , I have 3 empty properties if I get the meter disconnected  i get no bills ? Is that correct?

    Hi moonshadow,

    Thanks for your post.

    Once the properties are disconnected and the disconnection fees/final balances paid, you would receive no further invoices.

    It is worth bearing in mind that after a property has been disconnected for more than 6 months, it needs to be re-certified by an electrician before it can be reconnected. If a property is disconnected for more than 2 years, the reconnection would need applied for anew through ESB Networks. See here for more information.
