I am going to paint a gate made from box iron with grey oxide using a spray gun. How much thinners should I mix with the oxide?

It all depends on what size nozzle is in the spray gun. 1 is to 3 should be enough but make sure you mix the paint and paint and thinners well every time you fill the gun. it helps if you do it in a warm environment too (makes the paint more liquid).
