Does anyone know where I would get a reconditioned cylinder head for a 2001 8v Punto in the Balbriggan area?

It's either a blown head gasket, or the head may be cracked.

Owned a 16v year ago, changed 2 gaskets in 10 months, got head skimmed but my mechanic says its the block it self, its weak by Fiat !

Just my advice if ur changing the head gasket try to buy a double steel gasket not cheap ones, it may hold better.

    G.luck

Considering we have rebuilt a few o those engines and never had issues, I'd be inclined to lean towards whoever rebuilt them for you was a stupid c*nt

Theres nothing wring with the block. The oil rings break if excessively overheated

    We use victor reinz gaskets.

Now to the op. Send the head to dan daly if youre in a rush. I'd personally recommend chs in newry though if youre willig to travel
