****DO NOT VOTE IF YOU LIVE IN IRELAND****

    Asking the question that was asked here;
In that poll 62 % of posters live in Ireland, I'd wager the majority of those who dont are Irish people living abroad.

and as a companion to this thread.

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=86161410

I'm going to go out on a limb and guesstimate that boards is trending towards the 80:20 rule 80% 20% is my prediction for the poll. Any other guesses?

You're not the boss of me.

You ARE the boss of me though. Thanks for not closing - it's an interesting question to see how many overseas users are not Irish.

I've been back in Ireland for 18 months, but will be gone again in September.

    Can I vote?

Where do you consider you actually live? Ireland or elsewhere?

Well I'm Irish and I have been living in the UK for the past 3.5 years. I think it is safe for me to vote.

I'm here because there is no comparable site in UK.

OP, if you don't want Irish people posting here then you are in the wrong place.

    Live in Ireland, still voted.
    Deal with it.

Poll should also be public so we can flush out the foreigners.

    OP,

How do you propose flushing out all the lying bastards on this site?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,417 ✭✭✭Archeron

I spend a lot of time in a hot air balloon, so am not technically on Irish soil. I'm not sure what way to vote.

You see that slippery slope...wagering is at the top...you are now at the bottom. Where's your prediction?

Indeed. I can't vote so must post instead. But you are correct, who ever created this thread must be face palming himself.

Yes but the island of Ireland is not in scope.

    How can 3 options give 80/20? I guess 60/15/25

Add options one and two together and ignore option three which is there to give those who cannot follow instructions something to click.

Currently 5 users are overseas and not Irish. Or 16% of the 31 votes.

You can click on a user and see their profile including location on the touch site. You are lazy then. Pity.

    You could be anywhere!!

Can you? Care to post a screenshot?

Should I still be seeing your location under your name? Or were you wrong 'to bite' as you put it?

I see you held off on the face palm this time. Would have been appropriate.

Where's the 'I'm American option living in America'?

Click the User > Short form of the profile > Click "full site" and you get the full version of the profile including location.

    2 clicks is all.

    So you were wrong again.

I get the impression that you aren't one for details.

If I was arrogant I'd do the face palm, but I'm not so I won't.

This bickering is achieving nothing fellas. Madsl lives in America. There, sorted.
