FTA - portugal

    Folks,

    If you were to try and get UK Tv channles in the Algarve in portugal, would you connect to the Astra 2 satellite. A friend of mine had a sky box and card and have lost all their channels in the last week. Would a normal FTA box work there,.

    Anyone know if sky are just blocking channels or if the Astra 2 satellite signal is blocked there.

    Yes you align to Astra 28.2

    Yes any sat receiver should do.

    The signal is not blocked.

    I do not know much about sky boxes and card, but maybe he has to pair teh card to teh box or something like that again and maybe he has to do it from the UK/Ireland.
