    Running in to a brick wall on this, been told can only be obtained from Sweden. Need it for the weekend if possible

    Any idea where this could be got, new or second hand. I have tried all the main Saab dealers.

    Nonsense, Thule sell footpacks for 99.99% of cars on the road.
    I'd ring a Thule dealer and order a footpack and some bars.

    Thanks for the reply and information CJHaughey. I had tried Halfords for Thule to no avail but have just tried a Thule dealer in Dublin and I am sorted.

    Thanks Trollhattan, unfortunately no rails. But i have now got the fitting that I need and all is sorted.

    Where are you? I have a set of saab original 9-5 roof rails for sale, they fit really neatly into the little holes hidden behind the door seals. Very tidy system and the bars are rock solid. I had them on a few 9-5s.

    Send me a pm if you want, I remember paying a little over €100 for them from the dealer, but will let them off for half that.
