5ghz Wireless Card Issue

    Hey Guys

Hope this is the right forum to ask this. But please move it if I am mistaken.

    Have a strange problem.

I recently upgraded the wireless card on my laptop to a INTEL WiFi Centrino Advanced-N 6205 Dual-Band card. I wanted to get the best of the speeds wirelessly with UPC. I have the cisco router and have it set to 5ghz.

Now heres the weird part when I install the driver I get great speeds wirelessly. As below

However after about a half hour the speeds go down again to around 45Mb.
If I uninstall the driver and then reinstall the driver the speeds fly back up again.

We have a few 5ghz devices in our house, tablets and phones and they get high speeds (100Mb Average) constantly so it has to be something fishy with the wireless card.

Anyone got any ideas why this could be happening? Ideally I would like to not have to keep reinstalling the driver.

Sound like a power saving feature in the driver properties

I've been through all the properties searching for a clue to what might be causing this. Only thing I can see is this, but I have it unticked
