I have a cow who is circa 4 weeks from calving and she seems to be forcing some of the time as if she is trying to urinate but there is nothing coming.

She is eating a bit but would not be eating as well as the others

I have noted in the last few days she was very full looking.

Any idea what the problem is

Twisted uterus, examine in morning and untwist if so or get vet to do so calf might be dead and cows body trying to reject it
    Hope I'm wrong

Could she be calving to an earlier service, it would not be the first time it happened

We had one years ago she went mad pressing. When we handled her the waters hadn't broken. We got the vet out and he said she was just having a dummy run and that it would wear of her and she'll calve normally whenever, that's what happened.
