Cyfra / NC+ Transponder Problem

    I'm having issues with 11411 27500 H - Canal + Family HD etc

It comes through nice and clear sometimes (strong signal and quality) and others no signal at all.
I have no other issues on the Hotbird sat, there is a tree after shooting up by about 4 feet which could be interfering but surely I would have issues with other transponders if this was the case?

Any theories or help would be appreciated before I top the tree.

Are you in the west of Ireland and using a 60cm dish? If so its a common problem.

So an 80cm dish is the only remedy I guess?

11411 is a strange transponder. You can loose signal on it very easily. The dish needs to perfectly aligned or you will lose it in wind or rain. I don't know any other transponder like it on 13E, 19E or 28E

Yes a good quality 80cm would help.

that was the hardest to get for a long time using an 80cm dish, should be better with an 80cm than 60
canal + sport hd was moved from there on the switchover

now 11.508 is maybe as bad
