    There is huge amount of grey imports on amazon.co.uk for macbooks. They are perfectly good US or canadian macbooks send to the uk without any VAT being paid on them. That company has a perfect reviews. I would phone apple belfast and ask would they honour the warranty on it.

    Grey imports generally have a US keyboard which may or may not influence your decision.

    Thanks everybody, I understand how they can undercut apple.ie now, its probably not worth the risk really so.

    Like its a perfect apple product. There is just no VAT on it and Apple goods are cheaper in N. America
