    Just said on Graham Norton (wife watching it) said he was the most valuable/ highest grossing actor ever in hollywood.

    Potter/Batman/planet of apes/robocop were the movies he referenced.

    Technically not a main star but is he technically correct?

    That list must be allowing for inflation. Without it I always thought Samuel L. Jackson was # 1

    To be honest I always thought it was John Ratzenberger because of his voice work.

    But It's not Gary Oldman anyway.

    I going to stick up for Oldman. There is a website claiming he's the top-grossing actor. While it may not be true, there is at least a source to his claim. Let's all leave poor Gary alone...

    Here is one that breaks it down for different roles in movies from Leading Actor to Technical Roles.

    Frank Welker is our winner followed by Sam L Jackson and in 3rd place John Ratzenberger.

    I believe him, Harry Potter had what 7 films and the Batman flicks raked in the dough. Add to that all his other work and he has to be very close to the top
