Hi - a friend started work 3 weeks ago after years of unemployment. Rang revenue to make sure emergency tax was sorted asap. Has received 2 payslips/paychecks since, and while PRSI & USC have been deducted, no PAYE has been deducted. Should she ring revenue again or is there some period of exemption? Any advice or opinions appreciated.

there is no period of exemption

impossible to say without knowing her pay and the tax creits she is entittled to.

this is week 6 so if she only worked for 3 she would have 3 extra weeks of tax credits to go against the paye ; maybe that's it
