From what I can read of it it says Baked Beans, Sausages, Mushrooms, Pork and Egg Nuggets & Bacon !!!

Apparentely Iceland are to blame for bringing them in first -

    Here's a review !!

y'know, this sort of stuff is very popular in England. You go to where the beans usually are and there are loads and loads of beans with... varieties. Chicken nuggets in beans, breakfast in beans, stewed beef in beans. Sick feckers!

Having said that, I had a Fray Bentos pie out of a can before and it was delicious.

nuggets of the taste and stink of eggs?

That stuff would not be good for me, felt like barfing when I saw the canned chicken, that just does not look right.

God knows what that meat is, recovered?? processed, grown

Slice of buttery toast and a cup of tea with that, be grand.

Que the self hatred afterwards for eating it. Also it's not something you would eat in front of anyone else or speak about. Shame food at its finest.

The BBQ tin is much healthier, only 49% of salt GDA

They do a mixed grill in a can too.

Don't knock baked beans with sausages in a can.

One of the things I miss from the UK - cant seem to get them here at all.

Great on toast of a morning....but even I don't think I could eat those ones from Aldi!!!

There never seem to be in when I'm there (admittedly it doesn't help that I have to travel 30mins or so to get to one so not in there that often).

Will have a look next time I'm in one - Thanks

I've eaten worse. The packaging isn't great, but what the hell.

    Baked beans? Good.
    Sausages? Good.
    Mushrooms? Good.
    Pork & Egg Nuggets? Good.
    Bacon? Good.

It all goes down the same way. As long as it doesn't come out at speed. :D

They're great alright unfortunately with these products everything is just different sized salty gelatin blobs with a vauge chemical-smokey flavour, the beans are the only thing in the can thats not false advertising.

Don't knock it til you're tried it I say.

I was over in the UK a few weeks ago around where they eat a lot of beans and a lot of steak pasties and chips. The number of very overweight people blew me away. That sort of diet is ok if you work in a mine all day, but everyday office workers, its a big no no.

I love my fried breakfast as much as the next man, but the options in the canteen were:

    Lasagne, beans and chips
    Steak pie beans and chips
    cornish pastie beans and chips

    Not a salad in sight.

Dealz used to sell them before too. I have to admit, I've tried it :o

Not bad at all, had it over chips.

Wouldn't be broadcasting it though, definitely is shame food :p
