I know BBC2 is the main channel for winter olympics coverage, but apparently there are 6 other HD channel. Does anyone know the frequencies I need to tune these in?

    cheers,
    Mel.b

Full details of the BBC's coverage here. There's actually only two streams available via the Red Button, the other four streams are via the "Connected Red Button", effectively online streaming (and likely geoblocked to the UK).

Unfortunately London 2012 marked the end of the EBU's contract to broadcast the Olympics in Europe, so the treat we were given during London 2012 to watch any EU broadcasters coverage online won't be replicated this time.

Thank icdg. I don't actually have a sky box, so no red button for me and no extra coverage :(

The 'red button' satellite broadcast streams can be tuned on any satellite receiver (or terrestrial where Freeview is available) as separate channels. They don't need to actually be accessed via the red button.

What's on 11428? Isn't that the Freesat data tp?

The permanent 'red button' feed is on 10773 H 22000: will appear in a FTA receiver's channel list as '6390'.

The feed on 12552 V 22000 will appear as '54190'.
