Oil fired range to solid fuel

Our house has a range (Rayburn I think) in the kitchen that started off life as a solid fuel range but has, at some point possibly in the late 70s, been converted to run on oil.

We had the central heating upgraded when we first moved in to an efficient boiler and solar for hot water in summer. The range itself only heats three of the radiators in the house and to be honest we have not used it since we had the heating upgraded.

I wondering the other day if it was pheasable to have it switched back to be a solid fuel range?

As far as I know the conversion was done using some form of kit (the previous owner left us the instructions for it) but I guess it all depends on the way it was converted in the first place.

    Thanks
    P
