    Hi.

After an MRI scan and a visit to the consultant, he has recommended physio to tackle the problem.
I am based in Portmarnock, so I was given a list of physios in the general area (Malahide, Swords etc…). I don't know which of them would be best.
Can anyone recommend a really good physio anywhere in the northside area?

    Thanks.

I actually cant recommend this woman high enough. Kathy Kavanagh. I havent been to her in a while as i know she has been out sick for quite some time with neck surgeries but I got a generic text in November saying that she was back working albeit for just 3 days a week. there is another person working for her but i havent been to her so i cannot recommend. Just ask for Kathy specifically

I went to her as my very last resort in 2010 after trying numerous Chiros/Osteos and Physios for the previous 12 months which left me crippled.
She does 30mins and 45mins sessions. i always went for the 45mins as you just get more out of it. 30mins is never long enough. She also does manipulations too which is a massive plus.

I've sent my wife and 2 mates there with back injuries and they have been fine since. 'Physioed' for numerous sports teams as well as at the 2012 Olympics

Sent a card to me and my wife on our wedding day with a €100 gift voucher. :) Lovely woman. from the UK originally.

Who ever you go to though, it is probably more important to stretch and strengthen outside of the physio. The Physio will put you right, but you need to maintain and build on that

For me, its all about TRX and Pilates. I have great core strength now which has seriously helped with my issues.

    Best of luck
