I noticed this advert in the latest Ryanair in flight magazine, it seems expensive to me for advertising but maybe it is the market rates

    Full Fuselage €80,000 per month
Fuselage Back and Front door €8,400 per month
    Fuselage Back €5,900 per month

I somehow doubt Hertz, Jaguar etc paid per month for the 732s, particularly not at that rate!

Worked before, they did have it on one or two 738s so I don't know why they stopped (unless it just didn't justify the costs anymore?)

I honestly can't remember it being on any of the 800's only the 200's, do you know what they were?

How does the full aircraft work? Is it a respray? I presume there is a minimum amount of months you must take it for. Would they really bother respraying it at the end!?

No way too expensive for a respray it is a massive sticker that goes over the aircraft.

Aircraft branding is a complete waste of time hence the reason in Ryanairs history their ancillary revenue team have been unable to sell many aircraft for branding.

The expensive side of aircraft exterior branding is the fact that the aircraft has to be grounded to logo the aircraft. Furthermore you have to factor in a safeguard in case the advertisers brand goes toxic and you need to pull the aircraft backin to remove the branding.

Completely useless form of advertising in my opinion. Way too expensive.

That add has been in the magazine in one form or another for years but as said hardly any take up aside from the C&W aircraft... Many more efficient ways to spend that sort of money in advertising.

I wonder what the production costs are though? I presume that they are no included in the monthly costs.

I think the average cost is €30,000-€40,000 for full repaint and decal job, €80,000 per month taking out costs, you'd be making a profit of about €25,000 for one month, if they sign up for 6 months its all profit after month 1.
Remember its Ryanair here, if its not worth it money wise for them they wouldn't do it
