Anyone try these nightbreakers gold edition is there any noticeable improvement over the standard nightbreakers. The dipped lights aren't great on the focus I was waiting for one to blow and just replace them with nightbreakers but they don't seem to want to blow so I think ill just replace them as in the next few weeks I'll be returning to home from college at night and going early in the morning before it gets bright so I'll be doing more driving in the dark than day light so I think it's really time to change them. Link below about 21 euro delivered whereas the standard nightbreaker plus are about 18 euro delivered.

Its just got gold plated contacts and end caps and the light is bluer. Bit tacky IMO especially if the bulb is visible through the headlight.

The gold end cap and the blue bulb coating won't have any effect on the output. The blue won't be visible in the reflector either apart from weird side angles. In the ultimate pursuit of low voltage drops, gold plated connectors might give an advantage, but it won't be noticeable here. Get the standard Night Breakers and buy a pint in your local with the €3 saved ;)

Thanks I had a feeling they were more of a gimmick than anything else. If the light output isn't any different then ill just go with standard night breaker plus which have served me well in the past.
