    Hi all,

My brother is interviewing for Capita and Bank of America next week in their financial services sector. He's excited to start but I've been browsing the forum here and it's only doom and gloom talked about with Capita!

Anyone have any experience with either or them??

Which area of Capita? I've worked for their Fund Admin.

Your just a number in Bank Of America NBK12345 or something like that!

No job is safe there even permanent positions and you will be worked fairly hard. No problem in doing a year or so there but the staff turnover is very high so there is very little to learn from experience there. Middle managers are unnapproachable and usually only get there job because they are next in line to the previous one leaving

    Hope that helps!

It s 3 years since I worked with Capita, I worked in one of their International offices (since closed) but spend a lot of time dealing with and visiting their Dublin office. Had no issues, everyone I dealt with was very nice. Enjoyed working for them, have ended up working for one of their clients now.

Technology seem to be a different world to Operations as Tech have a very good staff retention, good work environment and decent salaries. That said only less then 20% of the building is Tech.

Nice touch with the NBK, but they are different now for new hires :)
