Are there certain cars that get through vrt lighter than others?

    As per the thread title...

    someone suggested to me recently that some particular cars get through the vrt process more reasonably than others. Is this the case? If so, where is the value to be found in this respect?

    The lower the emissions, the lower the vrt and road tax.

    Problem is, the uk have emissions road tax too so you may pay more for the car in the first place.

    Yes, it's all down to emissions and car value.
    In general all the mainstream diesels are reasonable to vrt.
