At the moment I'm getting 50Mbit at an attenuation of 12.2 which seems to be over-performing. Is this because there is reduced crosstalk to what there will be when the cabinet is full?

    (I'm not talking about contention/congestion)

    Cheers.

no - Eircom are going to enable vectoring in the near future will will reduce crosstalk and permit higher speeds (up to 100Mb/s)

Hopefully they do it soon. Am I right in thinking if a cabinet is enabled for vectoring that all providers connected to the cabinet (vodafone, magnet, eircom) will have to implement it on all lines for it to be effective?

They dont implement it, wholesale do. They configure the cab to use it. The line operators are required to ensure their users are using vectoring compatible gear though. Any line that isnt will be disconnected.

I think VDSL rollout has caused NGB to slow down because they don't have enough backhaul anymore.
