    Hello

What does it mean when a business is for sale in full vacant possession?
If the business is currently trading, what usually happens to the staff?

I'm sure that others will correct me if I am wrong, but vacant possession is a term applied to the sale of property, not a business.

It means that you are being sold the freehold, or sometimes a long leasehold, where there will be no sitting tenant i.e. the premises will be vacant when you buy. It's all in the title really.

If this is something that you saw on an advertisement then I would assume that it is the premises that is for sale and the business will be moving out. What happens to the business after that is another matter. They could be just moving to new premises of closing down.
