    Folks,

Quick one, I've an NCT later this week and need a few 24V tail light bulbs for

    4 No. 25W (type BA15s)
    2 No. 21W/5W (type BAY15d)

Anyone know of a bricks an mortar shop or fast delivery online store that has there? None of the local shops or halfords have them in 24V. Thanks.

I was thinking it had to be a 4x4 of some sort, was scratching my head on what 24 volt cars were made! :pac:

If it's 1979, why does it need an NCT....?

Is Aughnacliffe Truck Spares near you? They'll have 24 volt equipment :)

thanks dgt, unfortunately Aughnacliffe Truck Spares = COMPANY STATUS: dissolved

it's a 1979 truck with a 1980 plate, so it needs a yearly NCT. 56 euro tax though, so can't complain.

I'll try some more places tomorrow, failing that I'll just borrow them from another truck for the duration of the test and order online. thanks guys

Is it an ex-millitary job? I know there are plenty ex MOD Land Rovers with 24V systems because they were fitted with communication radios.

Have you tried ebay op? Electo maintenance might have them have them if your near dublin. Any doe centre would also have them and I'm sure if you asked nicely they Would sell you a few.
