Air Vents

I've spent a lot (and I mean a lot) of time trying to figure out what to do with the massive air vent's in 2 of our bedrooms which face directly west. It's blowing a gale in constantly.

We moved from hole in the wall to hit and miss as a temporary measure to slow the airflow down a bit. I then put making tape over the hit and miss one's as with these windstorms there was still a good breeze blowing in.

Anyway the best vent I've come across seems to be this

And I plan to add a tyfon grill

Anyone ever used them? Are they good enough?

Can anyone recommend anything better?

I think the ideal (but expensive) solution is to have the vents blocked and replace two back bedroom windows with those with closable trickle vents.

Hi Google stadium vents and have a look at the BLACK HOLE VENT. I am completely North facing one room it worked brilliant

Was it expensive? How about fitting? not sure which one fits a standard Irish hole in the wall vent.

I used these (http://freshairvent.ca/) in a recent renovation and found them to be great. Even if it is blowing a gale outside, I can dial down the airflow. I've no issues with condensation since installing them 2 months ago.
