Name of old PC Starship Adventure type game???

    Hi guys, this has been doing my head in for the last while and I'm hoping somebody can help identifying the game.
    First off the game was on the PC and on a single floppy disk AFAIK
    You start off in a scrapyard type place where there is lods of old machine and spaceship parts. You need to go and collect items to get your own ship (which has crash landed?) working again.
    I cant remeber if you control the player with the arrow keys but I do remember you had to type commands using the keyboard ie. to pick up items
    After you get the ship running you leave this place and fly trough space ending up on some desert like planet. Here you encounter an alien pawn shop/souvenir shop where you trade or buy items.
    Cant really remember much more after this. I have searched google and although a lot of similar sounding games appeared none are what I was looking for.
