Anything that you didn't get/didn't really like before but do now?

For me it has to be perfume. Always scoffed at people putting on a fake, synthetic scent onto themselves yet here I am, Sunday night sniffing my wrists after dousing myself with the stuff earlier. It's fair to say I smell edible. Mmmm mmmmeeee.

    What about you?

Tired in the evenings. Had more energy before parenthood and it's other attendant responsibilities.

    Glazers Out!

    Pop music.

When I was younger I HATED it, thought it had no value, saw it as something people brainlessly liked without considering the music itself.

Then I started working out last year and would pop on something with a good beat to exercise to.

Then I found myself listening to the same music while cleaning the house, making dinner etc.

Now I love it. The more corny and stupid, the better. I still wouldn't be huge into it as an actual art form, but I get it now that it's fun to dance to, can lift your mood, and isn't really trying to take itself that seriously.

Yeh, lots of those dinosaur acts: the Stones, Beatles, Zeppelin, Bob Dylan... found them boring when younger, now think they're the bomb.

Fantasy Football. Was a casual player up until last year, didn't really take notice of it. But since I discovered the Fantasy Sports Arena forum on Boards I've become obsessed.

I genuinely get upset when it's not going well.

    Also, Twitter.

Tangible music formats. And paying for my music.

A year ago my entirely digital music collection was 100% pirated.

Now, I own turntables and am well on my way to buying my 100th record.

Physical music ROCKS! And so does supporting the people who put so much effort into making it.

Definitely listening to more old bands these days. My dad was a big Creedence fan and into bands like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Cream, The Who etc etc, never got it when I was a kid. Who knew our parents had the best music.

When I was younger couldn't understand how my parents/grandparents could just sit in front of the fire and relax with no tv or anything
Now in my late 30s and kids now I know

    Twitter

Initially believed it to be just a magnet for vacuous celebrities to spout nonsense (which it still is) but, with a bit of exploration, can be very useful to track live events, provided you're connected to the right sources.
