UPC wifi on my phone

    Can anyone suggest why I can only get a good connection if I'm in the same room ie a few feet from the router?.....if I'm downstairs it constantly loses connection and is out of range......yet still I've a Sky on demand connector downstairs that picks up the wifi brilliant

    I can get like 10mb's+ connection but will last only a min or 2 then cut out reconnect constantly.....very annoying
