Was talking to a friend who heard the radio report but didn't catch the name, apparently the window consisted of a single pane and a double glazed pane which were separated. The first pane allowed incoming air to circulate before it entered the house through the double glazed unit (if this makes any sense). Window was only in development and is expected at the end of the year.

I'd like to know who this new company is also. A PM would be great. Thanks.

I got triple glazed windows installed months ago.

    Munster joinery do them.

They took out the double glazed units, left the frames in and fitted the triple glazed panes fit right in.

It's weird as the new panes are nearly twice as thick but fit perfectly.

That's not even close to what I'm describing in the op

I detailed how I got triple glazing recently.

You described how you heard of a company that is doing triple glazing now.

I said I got mine from munster joinery. Feel free to look up.

If there is some other new super duper type of triple glazing I'm unaware of I look forward to reading about it here.

No I described a company that was doing a new type of triple glazing and asked had anyone heard of this new window design.

At no point did I say I was looking for people to randomly name window companies that do triple glazing (as you have done). As nearly all window companies now provide triple glazing as an option.

Back in 2007 there was a product under development called the Dwell Vent window. It was part of a research / product development project in one of the Cambridge Universities and was used in two pilot projects that I know of around Dublin. Some discusions were had here and here.

    Then came the recession ....
