So, finally, SF and 2 co-workers are stood where so many were baying for them to be stood. Without prejudicing the Trial, so general stuff only, is this about time, too little too late, the best thing since sliced bread or a massive box full of Atari Jaguar?

I'll make my mind up when the dust settles - which could be May or June according to De Noos.

Mods, If this is dodgy ground, too dull or likely to cause kittens to burst into flames, please delete.

This unfortunately is what most of our bankers look like in the dock

It will be a light-weight trial.
Don't want them squealing on anyone high up in politics.

What's the point white collar crime does not have correct/any punishments here. I steal 10k from a bank I get major jail time. They do it via accounts or selling shares to mates or insider trading or what ever and so on so forth. Slap on the wrist as it goes a lot higher than just them (golden circles). It would be impossible to bring it all down to many looking after each others backs as there generally all as guilty as each other and would not want any punishment themselves. So best way not to get punished is not to punish the ones that have been caught out and keep the punishment low level/none.

Iceberg ahead aka the sub judice rule! This thread is probably more appropriate post trial as some troll will probably cross the line.

If that's actually the case - close her up Mods. I'd hate to be the reason one of them used to get off.. :D

These guys will have the best lawyers money can buy and the case will be struck out on some sort of legal technicality in no time

Unfortunately, being stupid/selfish/shortsighted etc are not not crimes.

According to rte, the charges relate to "providing unlawful financial assistance to 16 people to buy shares in the bank". Not sure of text of the actual supposedly laws broken.
