Case fan connector/controller

After a bunch of browsing around here I've built a computer from hardwareversand with a Zalman Z3-plus case, an MSI 970A-G43 mobo and a be quiet! 500w PS. Theres 2 fan connectors on the mobo and 3 cables from the case so I'm short 1. Theres a fan controller button on the front that turns two of the case fans to half/full speed I think but the PS doesn't have anything to connect them to. So far its running great with them unattached but I'm wondering what sort of connector/adapter I'd need to get them hooked up since one of the fans on the top of the case isn't running and the controller doesn't work as its not attached. Heres a pic of the connectors and thanks!

That photo is the connectors for the front panel fan controller, right? If you want to use that controller, plug two case fans into the two male connectors on the controller. Then plug the female connector on the controller into a motherboard fan header. That should let you control those two fans with the front panel controller. Then you can plug your third fan directly into your other free motherboard fan header.

Damn I'm stupid, I never thought about trying that. Yeah the photo is of 2 connectors from the fan controller and 1 fan connector. I just plugged the 2 other fan connectors in while putting it together and when I got to those last 3 wires there I just assumed I was short on connectors. Makes sense now that you've pointed it out; the one plugged in to the motherboard should run at 100%, while the two fans plugged in to the controller can be 50/100% depending on the switch. I'll open 'er up and connect them. Cheers luck!

Tried and confirmed, works perfect now. I just noticed its colour-coded too. The grey female plugs to the board, the two black female plug to the controller. Well I'll know for next time, thanks again fella
