Phone In Gym

    Hi,

Does anyone have a gym strap /clip that allows you to detach your phone and use it in between rep rests etc.

I have a gym app on my phone which i am finding very useful but it's annoying having to take it in / out of my arm strap each time i want to log an exercise or view the next.

Does anyone else have a good workaround... other than 'leaving my phone at home', 'pen and paper' etc... :)

If you got longer earphones would that help?

Not being smart - that's just what I do. Well, I just have an mp3 player there.

Dumb phone in the other pocket :)

I have an app on my iPhone that I sometimes use to log stuff between sets, I listen to music too and just leave it in my pocket, no issue whatsoever with headphones or anything.

It's not exactly what you asked but it's a perfectly practical solution.

Have a belt thing with a zip pocket thingy that works grand for all lift. Using the pocket in shorts doesn't work for me as I usually do squats and deadlifts.

Yes. There's this ingenious new invention called "the pocket" which allows people up carry phones and other items within their clothing, even while at the gym.

Other radical thinkers have gotten around this problem by placing their phone on the ground beside rack/bench while doing weights, leaning their phone on the frame of a machine or in the drink holder, or even just holding it in their hands while on the threadmill.

Whatever will they think of next !

I guess if I'm going to unnecessarily sarcastic and condescending, I should at least do a quick spell check before posting

I just have an image of an American with a 'fanny pack'. But I know what you mean...front pocket on the hoodie does the job when I'm squatting. It's not a bother when I'm deadlifting

Always a smart ass around... how do you expect to listen to music on a phone when it's on the ground???

Get a female to male jack headphone extender and run it inside your tshirt. No problem putting it in a pocket then.
