Buy a normal bike and put it on a turbo trainer. That way, you still have an ordinary bike to ride outdoors, and you can still do great indoor workouts.

Star Trac and Schwinn make good branded equipment for indoor Bikes

    Check out donedeal for them.

Prima Fitness generally sell great condition refurbished bikes cheaply

If you go for one around 150-200, the pad that applies pressure and force to the flywheel degrades quickly

Id also echo what Oryx said - getting a bike and turbo is great option!

Thanks for replies, I have a hybrid bike. Which turbo trainer would ye recommend. Also is that very bad for bike?

Trax is a good brand to go with, you should be able to get set up for well under €200.you need to check the size of the type on your bike to make sure the turbo is compatible.if you plan on spending a lot of time on the turbo you will wear down the back type really quickly, not a major problem tho
