key fob for 07 Skoda Octivia

    Hi,

    I bought a 07 Octavia last year which only came with one manual key so no remote central locking. Its a basic model and have been told the don't come with remote central locking. Just wondering does anybody know if it is possible to get a key fob setup for this car by a lock specialist. If u turn the key twice it operates the central locking so maybe it would be possible.

    I'd imagine if you bought a flip key with the three central locking buttons and got it cut and coded it should work. My parents 05 has 2 central locking flip keys. So surly all models have central locking capability and some just don't come with the key. It may be worth asking your main dealer if it just needs a new key with central locking. Or try autokey I've found them good in the past.

    hi ref to ypur key fob problem,as a skoda driver myself i found by joining briskoda,a skoda car forum,i got all the advice technical etc,and any other query i had was promptly answered,or was there in the forums ,which are easy to navigate,and defenitley has saved me a fair amount of money ,and all the skoda problems and soloutions are there,hope this helps,p.s. you dont have to join,but to access all data,videos etc,technical assistance etc,i did join
