Drummer and Bass Player wanted for up and coming Cork based rock(/blues) band "The AlKove" playing originals, to date with good feedback. Some studio work already completed, small gigs played but looking to expand to a 5 piece with the addition of a drummer and bass player. Your job as a full time rock star awaits...

Where are you based and could you give an idea of the type of music played ?
Rock/blues and folk seems an unusual combination IMO.

Hi Rigsby, based in Cork. Ya, we have a few acoustic folksy numbers, but mostly our live set consists of upbeat rock/bluesy type stuff. (I had a feeling putting folk in there would raise questions! Might take it out again altogether) I'm guessing if your location is Dublin we may not be an option for you, but if you are interested let me know and I can email you on a couple of links.

Yeah I'm in Dublin so I'm a non runner.

Nothing wrong with playing folk. It's just unusual to see it listed beside rock and blues.

Best of luck in your search. :)

Thanks mate. Pity, but cheers for that. If you happen to move to Cork in the next few weeks, give us a shout ;-)
