Hi, I changed from sky bb to upc yesterday and I cant figure out how to get on demand working.
I have the wireless connector box from sky connected to the sky box, the upc modem is in another room (as was the sky modem before)
It's picking up the upc signal and I can put in the password fine. In network menu Connection to router is OK but Connection to on demand is FAIL
    What am I doing wrong?

Sorry if this has been answered before but I couldn't find it and am not really techie

Permanently? Or just to initially set it up?

If you have a wireless connector on the sky box, that should be enough no need for a cable. Link to skys help page may help you

The sky HD box may just need a software download to ensure it picks up the UPC modem. Unplug Sky box from the wall. Ensure all lights are off. The button back up is located in the middle on the top of the sky box. Hold this button in continually and then put the plug back in the wall. Continue to wait for a on screen message to appear about software download. This usually takes about 10-15 mins. Leave the box on standby for another five mins. Then unplug on demand wireless connector and plug back in. turn on Sky box. Go in to on demand. All content should reappear
