Early Queue for Brooks tickets?

So when should a person start to Queue for Garth Brooks tickets? My friend and his brother have been standing outside a shopping centre in the northside suburbs of Dublin since before noon today. The tickets don't go on sale til Thursday at 9am, right? There is nobody else in the Queue.

I think he is nuts doing it, but he is determined to get the first tickets in this shop. He will barely see his kids and will probably end up getting sick in this weather. I don't think he has a chair yet and has no flask for hot drinks and probably no money because he is spending it on tickets. He has me buying tickets online for him for the second night.

Anyone else reckon its a bit early to start a Queue? Maybe he will come on here and update you all :D

Can people queueing like this be done for loitering ?

    Just wondering.

I once queued up from 6.30am for Rod Stewart tickets.
I was first in the queue yet somehow I still couldn't get the best seats because they'd been taken.
    Don't ask me how!

Tickets go onsale through all outlets (including the internet) at 9. By the time he walks over to the counter, says how many he wants and gives his name half of them will already have been taken by people sitting at home on a computer.
