Hi folks I'm wondering what would be the best option for getting dirt out of the car seats the previous owner of the car never cleaned it and there is a build up of dirt ingrained in the seats and I'm wondering how to get it out or am I just best off getting a new/second hand interior. Any ideas would be great :) as it ruins the look of the car especially when I wash the outside and the inside is still mank.

Fabric interior...something like Chemical Guys Fabric Clean, spray on, scrub and then use a microfiber to draw out the dirt...ideally wet vac to help draw more out and dry quicker.

Leather interior...there are specific cleaner, but a mild All Purpose Cleaner and a soft mail brush to scrub, will do the job also. Microfiber cloths to wipe dry and lift dirt. Treat with a conditioner optional.

Not sure about the Oxy Action...Id imagine it should be OK as its safe for clothes. Test in an area that cant be seen.

Mr. Muscle would be too strong. There are dilutable options in most supermarkets. Daisy in Tesco, W5 in Lidl, etc. Dilute down to 1 part product to 10 parts water or so, should do a decent job. Specific cleaners obviously remove anu guess work involved.

If you want to make fabric seats look like new, have enough amount of time and basic skills you can disassemble seats and wash upholstery in a washing machine. :)

So I got some vanish oxy clean for the fabric seat and it works a treat I found giving it a gentle but slightly aggressive(if that's even possible :) ) rub (the car seats that is :p) with a hand brush it gets the dirt out of the seat. I only tried it on the fabric on the drivers door and the front of the passenger seat and it's all good so I'll be using the oxy clean.

    Thanks for the help. :)

You could hire a carpet/upholstery cleaning machine from somewhere.
I know homebase lease them, but maybe some other places also do. Plant hire etc.

Ignore the fact the title on youtube says steam clean, its actually not using steam.

Or you could get a quote from a valeting company to see how much they would charge.
It could work out cheaper if they supply the cleaning product etc.
