I Just had eFibre installed and Im delighted. The technician that came today was sound and was in & out in less than 20mins.

Im getting a steady speed of 65mb, which is allot more than I expected. Coming from someone who used to get 9mb, its a big leap for me!

Although despite this, I am disappointed that you do not provide house phones even though im on a package including off-peak calls, if a free modem is supplied I don't see why a house phone isn't.

    Hi Ronan14

Glad to see you are happy with your broadband service. Unfortunately landline phones are not included but I will offer this as feedback to operations.

    Many thanks

Thanks. Is there any information as to when eFibre customers will avail of the My Eircom service?

    Hi Ronan14

There is no set launch date but I am expecting to have more news on this within the next few weeks. As soon as I know I will create an update in service updates and announcements on the eircom community forum.

    Thanks

    Al

Hi again Alan, I've been scanning over the Service Updates and Announcements forum and I haven't seen anything. Do you have an update on this?

Any word on efiber in Ranelagh at all? My 24 Mb is only operating at about 8Mb. For 52 squids a month at those speeds it makes me think would UPC be better..

Thanks Tony. I was expecting to be contacted by eircom when the efiber was available. I had been on that link and registered my interest already. So, how can I avail of the upgrade?

    Hi mrpqr

You can order efibre by contacting our Sales team on 1800 503 303. You can also order online. Have you checked your Phone number on the online Phone number checker (below) to ensure your Phone number has been efibre enabled,

Thanks Colm. Just been on to one of the guys at that number. He was very helpful, however, he says that the website is a bit misleading in that my phone number came back as eligible but the area is in fact non eligible yet. Eircom will contact me when it is ready apparently.
