WTD: Tacx parts

    I have an old Tacx Eco Power turbo trainer than was given to me. Its the type that clamps the forks to the frame of the unit. The plastic part that cups/cradles the the BB is broken. Anybody have a spare or old unit lying around.

    Broke the clamp on my tacx flow last night and spent some time this morning hunting down a spare. This site had a good range of tacx spare parts.

    Sorry to hijack, but does anyone have a spare 31.8mm rubber insert for the handlebar controller on a Tacx Sirrus? It's the same one as the Speedmatic and Satori models, p/n T1467.08. Discountbikes.co.uk have it, but the postage is more than the cost of the part!

    I think I have one of those in the attic at home. I definitely have a Taxc trainer which sounds as you describe, ie you take out the front wheel an clamp via the BB.

    Am working in Dublin all week so won't be able to check model etc. but if you can post a pic here I'll be able to tell you if what I have is similar. It's in very good condition and works perfectly, I merely don't use it anymore, so if you are interested I will be happy to see someone getting use out of it.
