    Hiya,

Have just started subbing and have been given casual workers dockets. Who signs them? I'm working in a selection of schools. Do I need to contact the department of education?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

I've a similar set up. What I'm doing is, I'm getting a generic letter signed by the school. I made a template letter and the principal/secretary fills it in with the dates etc.
Same as you I could have 2/3 different schools in one week. Therefore, I don't get the bottom of the docket signed at all.

    Good luck
    Simone

Thanks a million. So you just hand in the letter with the docket and that's that?
And the template just says your name worked here as a substitute teacher on the following dates I presume.

    No worries,
Yeah if you leave a space for the date, school and principal's name, and fill these in as you go along-just to make it easier.
You probably have to let your office know you're using this system
Also, write a note along with the dockets every time you drop them in.

The dockets are not ideal for our type of work- subbing

    Ah well....no complaints- good luck
