    Hi my hubby & I hope to go on a sun holiday this easter so just looking for suggestions. we re in our 50 's & would be looking for sun good food & nice beaches . We ve been to lanz a few times its lovely but would like to try somewhere a bit different. Thanks.

    In this order without going hugely long haul or Maldives type expensive;

    Florida (Easter flights will probably be expensive)
    Malta
    Cyprus

    For somewhere different I'd go to Isreal, maybe a Red Sea resort or if Africa is on the agenda you could try The Gambia. A buddy of mine in his 50's swears by it and it's easily accessible from London as well as great value.

    If you don't have to go while the schools are closed it is madness to fly during the Easter period. Go the week before or after for far better value.
