The last time my mother brought the car for the service she was told there was a fualt coming up to do with the keys. Car doesn't let know when you have the lights left on after taking the key out like it use to Think they said it be the cim or something like that and that they would need both keys for the car to reprogram…

It there a way I could do this at home or does it need the software?
