    Hi guys,

Does anyone know the difference between the Panasonic TX-L39E6B and the TX-L39E6BW?

    No links, sorry... Damn phone!

There is a 200 euro price difference at the moment.

Also, besides the TV's above, what's a good 39" smart tv for around 550 euro.

Is it best to get one with WiFi or without?.. Can use a dongle?

Having Netflix on it would also be good.

    Thanks for any help.

Edit: if I opted for a non-smart tv, would it be a better option to build a cheapish htpc to use with the case tv for legal streams? I've also got horizon.

I'm not a technophobe, but TV's are not my strongest point.

The only difference between the two is the color. The e6b has a silver bezel, silver stand and is black at the rear. The is e6bw has a white bezel, white stand and is white at the rear.

The tx-l39e6bw is exclusive to currys/pc world afaik.

The tx-l39e6b is strangely more expensive than the white version although it does qualify for the viera 5 year warranty promotion at selected retailers. The 39e6bw does not qualify for this promotion being a currys exclusive.

The more popular txl42e6b offer the same picture quality as the txl39e6b yet it's cheaper and also qualifies for the 5 year warranty promotion(retailer dependent) and it's what my money would be on if looking for a Panasonic.

However if smart features are important to you a Samsung is the way to go.

Edit: Just seen the €550 part of your post. Discount the txl42e6b if that's your max budget. :)
